February Meeting Minutes
You will find enclosed the minutes from the February BTHL meeting. Prior to the meeting, please review. Contact one
of the board members if you would like to have an item added to the agenda for the March meeting.
You will find several documents included in this mailing. Please take the time to review and act on those that require it, particularly the Satisfaction Survey.
1999 Satisfaction Survey
The BTHL is in its 5th year and is always looking to improve the league. We want to offer a league that
attracts the most competitive teams in our member markets that we can. In addition to on-going feedback, every year we
issue a Satisfaction Survey. As the President or BTHL Representative to your organization, we ask that you distribute
copies of this survey to all coaches and board members and any other individuals you feel can constructively comment on
the league over the past season. This survey is used and will be reviewed at the Annual Meeting for ways of improving
the league. The Survey can also be completed on the BTHL WEB Page.

BTHL By-Laws & 1999 - 2000 Rules and Regulations
Each year the rules governing the BTHL are reviewed and changes put in place at the Annual Meeting. You are asked to
review the BTHL By-Laws and the Rules and Regulations. Proposed changes can be sent and will be reviewed and voted
on at the Annual Meeting in May. You may submit you proposals several ways…
We encourage your feedback. It's only through this type of information exchange that we continue to develop and grow into the competitive league we want to offer and our member organizations deserve to be a part of.
2000 - 2001 Board Positions
Most board positions are open of the upcoming season. A By-Law change that is to take affect for the next season is to
rotate the board positions through each member organization, as listed in the By-Laws. We obviously would prefer to
fill board positions by somebody who wants to hold that position and will gladly accept volunteers. However, in the
event board positions go unfilled at the Annual Meeting, we will start working our way down the list until all positions
are filled. Feel free to contact a current board member if you are interested in filling a position. A description of
each board position can be found in the By-Laws.
End of Season Play-Offs
Congratulations to all the teams who participated in the League and the End of Season Play-Offs. Final standings and
play-off results are on the WEB page.
Columbus Bluejackets NHL Team
The Columbus Bluejackets NHL team has contacted the league with a unique opportunity to purchase season tickets that
could benefit all teams. The Bluejackets will be sending out a survey to identify the level of interest. Please take a
moment to complete the survey when you received it and send it back in.
Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting is held in May of each year. Rules & Regulations changes, By-Law changes and new officers are
voted on at this meeting. In addition, we use this meeting to set the direction of the league for the upcoming season.
TENTATIVELY the meeting is scheduled for Sunday May 21, 2000 in Columbus at the Bluejackets new Nationwide
Arena. A meeting notification will be mailed in April. There will be no April board meeting.
