Meeting Minutes/Teleconference
January 21, 2002 7:30 pm

Present: Ken Nagel, Becky Caesar, Drew Boyd, Len Holtgreven, High Miller, Tracy Merritt, Doug Lozier, Jim Palapetto, Murray Stall, Carolyn Vogel.

Becky provided an update about the Athens Bantam team that was moved up to an AA Bantam due to the # of return players, they lave lost 31 games and won 2.

Keith Kenitzer has moved…new home # 502-239-0307.

Discussion of conduct board meeting, present: Hugh Miller, Tracy Merritt and Murray Stall.

• Rule #1. Suspension of Mr. Ross for entering ice. He is suspended for all BTHL games and tournaments until 12/31/2002. He will be on probation for 1 year, 1/1/2003 until 12/31/2003.
• Rule #2. Following rule 632, Ken Wolkalski given a suspension for 4 games for failure to complete play, since taking his team off the ice. He will also be on probation for the 2002-2003 season.
• Rule #3. Match penalty will suspend until review. Game forfeiture award to Blue Hawks, point and game for league standing.

New Business:
Tournament in Louisville. Hotels are posted, tournament schedule brackets and times arranged, refs and rinks are ready, pro-shop and snack bar, medical and police personal arranged.
Reminder: if not on the roster, you cannot play. The tournament sign-in sheets are based on the roster, 12/31/01.
Medals will be awarded instead of trophies, Gold for the 1ST place team and Silver for the runner-up team.

New Business:
Drew Boyd brought forward concerns with the changes with birthyear format for teams. There are no plans to change this format at this time. Possibly look into AA-major and minor teams. AA would include 2nd year players and A would be 1st year players. Maximum age of ineligibility does not change, however, will add 6 months at the minimum age level.

New Business:
New web site, bright.net, updating whenever possible. Will continue both web sites at this time. Looking for new logo for the league.
