The October meeting of the Buckeye Travel League (BTHL) is on Monday October 18 at 7:30 p.m. (Ohio & Kentucky); 6:30 pm (Indiana). The meeting is being held at Sportstown Ice Center. With a new season underway, all member organizations are encouraged to have representation at this meeting.

September Meeting
You will find enclosed the minutes from the September BTHL meeting. Also attached are the minutes from the September 14 conference call. This call was held by the executive board and the league scheduler to review and vote on teams that had petitioned to league to play at the "A" level. Prior to the meeting, please review. Contact one of the board members if you would like to have an item added to the agenda.

1999 - 2000 Board Positions
FINALLY all board positions have been filled.

An End-of-Season Tournament Director is still needed. Feel free to contact any board member if interested.

It should be noted that this is the last year the league will have to rely on filling these positions on a solely volunteer basis. Starting in the 2000 - 2001 season, open board positions will be filled on a rotating basis. Refer to the 1999 - 2000 Rules and Regulations and By-Laws for additional information.

Scheduling Notes
By now, all teams should have checked their schedule on the WEB page and reported any changes to Len. If you haven't, do so immediately.

Additional notes:

• ALL teams should send a stamped copy of your USA Hockey roster to Len as soon as you get them back from your associate registrar.
• Games should be reported via the WEB page, e-mail or phone each weekend. The Standings can stay current and correct if game scores are reported in a timely manner.
• Home teams are responsible for mailing (don't FAX unless reporting a suspension) the scoresheets to Len. Only send scoresheets from league games.
• Game suspensions should be reported with game results. FAX a copy of the scoresheet to Len showing the suspension.

Attached is the current list of Presidents and BTHL Contacts for all member organizations. Remember to keep us updated when your contacts change. Send any changes to Secretary Kim James.
