The top 3 teams in our division were extremely close as far as competition. There were a couple of teams who were not competative in this group
They were held last June, but may change this year as the program merges with another
I thought for the most part the scheduling went well. I didn't hear about any major problems with allowing the teams to schedule the games themselves.
I would hate to see you drop the option of petitioning to play A as opposed to playing AA. There are teams out there who would not be competative at the AA level for many reasons.
I liked how frequently it was updated.
All teams should (be required to?)update their stats.
I think the website was fantastic! Except for one small block of time, the website was available and updated in a timely manner. It looks like the "live forum" might need to go. I'm not sure it was used constructfully.
Is there a place where we can find the minutes online?
A handout with league info, volunteer opportunites, and what the volunteers do, given to players (for their parents) when they check in at the tournament. (not much help for this year)
Overall, I thought the league ran very well. There was one issue of a site problem, (Hara Arena), but I thought for the most part - it was a good league. The problem at Hara is that the penalty boxes are open to the crowd behind them (no glass separating them from the crowd). From what I have heard, a couple of teams had their players jeered at, cussed at and generally abused by Dayton parents. This has got to stop. This site has got to prevent parents from being behind the boxes or not play at this site.
