February Meeting Minutes available for review.
Treasurer Dr. Keith Kenitzer presented the Treasurer’s
Report. Current balance roughly
$14,000. This includes income and
disbursements for the play-offs, league trophies and payment to Arthur Burghes,
who donated his pay back to the league.
Motion to made and seconded to accept the Treasures report was
passed. Old account needs to be closed
out.
Wrap-up
discussion on Play-Offs. Overall
comments about the Play-offs have been positive.

Two
game misconduct's occurred during the play-offs.
·
Game
misconduct in the last league game of a team that did not play in the
play-offs. Should it carry over to next
season? After some discussion, league
decided, No it does not carry over.
Lengthy
discussion about the structure of the play-offs and keeping all teams
involved. The "AA" division
seems to be OK. The disparity between
the "A" teams appears to be the problem. Recommendations on changes are posted on the BTHL WEB page and
will be discussed at the May Meeting.
Ft.
Wayne has expressed interest in hosting the 2001 - 2002 Play-Offs.
Concerns
about the conduct of the Dayton Bluehawks Squirt AA Coach/Team were
discussed. Letters have been received
from the Louisville ACE Coordinator and the Dayton Gems as well as verbal
concerns expressed from the Cincinnati Cyclones. A letter will be written by Tracy and sent to the Bluehawks board
expressing the issues and the concerns of this behavior by the league.
The
BTHL End of Season Survey is posted on the WEB page. Also posted are recommendations about restructuring the
Play-offs. All member organizations are
encouraged to submit a survey and comments about the play-offs.

Meeting will be held Sunday May 20 in at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, OH.
