Due to changes in the Mid-Am Annual meeting this year, the BTHL will not be holding a board meeting as in the past. Instead, Len Holtgreven and other representatives will be available during the Hospitality Session following the Mid-Am General Membership meeting to answer questions and promote the League. A Board Meeting will be held in July to distribute 1999-2000 team applications and finalize the two remaining Rules & Regulation changes.

1999 - 2000 Board Positions

The positions of President and Treasurer are still open for the 1999 - 2000 playing season. Descriptions for these board positions are found in the BTHL By-Laws, located on the BTHL WEB page. There is also ample opportunity to serve on any of the committees outlined in the By-Laws.

Changes to the 1999 - 2000 Rules & Regulations

Changes to the 1999 - 2000 Rules & Regulations occurred in the following areas:

• Game Schedule/Cancellation Policy - further defined
• Referees - further defined
• 2^nd year players on "A" teams - lowered to 6

Additional changes in the areas of Selection of Board Members and Membership were tabled for future discussion. These changes are included in this mailing and will be voted on at the July meeting. Proposed Teams for the 1999 - 2000 Season / Team Applications

Continue to keep Len updated with the teams your organizations are planning to place in the League this season. Len maintains the list on the WEB page. Team applications will be available at the Mid-Am Meeting and will be mailed out in July. Note: if registering a team at the "A" level, a list of players with birth dates is required. The "official" USA Hockey roster is not needed. If your team has not been formed yet, a list of potential players with birth dates is still needed. An "A" team is limited to 6-second year players, as defined by birthday, not playing experience. As per the BTHL Rules and Regulations a written explanation is required if requesting an exception to the rule.
