** Application Deadline Has Passed **
If your application was not mailed by this past Saturday, Sep 7, your application is "late". We will continue to accept
applications until this Saturday (14th), but I MUST have it in my hand by that date. Also, be sure to include the
late penalty of $50/team along with your application and tournament fee. You can check the
Prospective Team List for the status of your team any time. If your team is
not listed in bold print, your application has not made it to me. This list is updated on a daily basis.
Scheduling Meeting
Saturday, September 21
Dayton Airport Inn
A Board Meeting will be held at prior to scheduling (around 9:00am), all are welcome and encouraged to attend. The
Scheduling will then start promptly at 10:00am, please be checked in and ready to go a minimum of 15 minutes
early. We are typically done by Noon.
We are still looking for volunteers to fill the Mite, Squirt and Midget 17U Division Director positions. There
were a number of people that had indicated a "possible" interest in the League Survey. If you were one of those people I
urge you to step forward at this time, we need you.
Other dates of significance:
- Saturday, September 7
"On time" team application deadline. Any applications postmarked after this date will be considered late and a $50/team
late fee will be applied.
- Saturday, September 14
"Final" deadline for team applications. Applications will not be accepted after this date. Please note applications must be "in hand" by this date, this is not a "postmark" deadline.
- Tuesday, September 17
The BTHL Board and Division Directors will meet via conference call to consider all petitions submitted by teams to
participate at the "A" level. All teams considered will be posted on the website immediately following this meeting
along with the Boards' decision to accept or decline their request. Those teams which are declined will be given until
Thursday to make a final decision.
- Thursday, September 19
Teams which have been denied their request to participate at the "A" level will be given until this day to submit a
written request (email preferred) to participate at the "AA" level -or- adjust their roster to fit the "6 2nd-year"
player rule. Unless written notification is received the team will be dropped from the league and a full refund will
be issued.
- Saturday, September 21
Scheduling Meeting! Each team MUST have a representative present at this meeting. It is NOT ACCEPTABLE
for one person to schedule multiple teams.
- Friday, February 28 through Sunday, March 2
BTHL Year-End Tournament in Cincinnati.
