Early-Bird Tournaments

Louisville 2nd Annual Early Bird Tournament
LYHA will be hosting the Second Annual Early Bird Tournament October 1-3 at Iceland Sports Complex in Louisville, KY. Both A and AA teams will field together. With 6 teams in one division there will be a split between A and AA with a match-up then in the playoffs. Tournament is open to Squirt - Midget, A and AA. Three (3) games guaranteed, five (5) games maximum. Team and Player trophies for 1st and 2nd place. On Saturday night from 8-11pm there will be a Casino Night upstairs at the rink; 2 tickets to this event are included in your registration. 1st Annual Gahanna Lions Inline Hockey Tournament
The Gahanna Varsity Ice Hockey program is sponsoring a series of 5-on-5 outdoor roller hockey tournaments in Gahanna, Ohio during August. There are three age groups: 17 and under, 14 and under, and 11 and under. The 17U is August 6-8, 14U is August 13-15, and the 11U is August 20-22nd. The team fee is $300, 3 games guaranteed, all proceeds support the Gahanna Ice Hockey program. Additional information can be found in this flyer or on their website at http://www.gahannahockey.com/.

14th Annual Sylvania (OH) Fall Face-Off Tournament
The Sylvania Metro Amateur Hockey League (SMAHL) has announced dates for the 14th Annual Sylvania Fall Face-Off Tournament. The tournament is scheduled for September 23-26, 2004 at Sylvania Tam-O-Shanter. The tournament will include competition in six divisions including Squirt A, Squirt AA, PeeWee A, PeeWee AA, Bantam A, and Bantam AA. Each team is guaranteed a minimum of three games and a maximum of four games. The cost is $650.00 per team. Every year the Sylvania Fall Face-Off Tournament attracts some of the best teams from the Little Caesars Amateur Hockey League, the Buckeye Travel Hockey League, and the Cleveland Suburban Hockey League. This tournament fills quickly, and therefore, we recommend that you submit your application early. Cathedral High School Early Bird Midget Classic
Indianapolis Cathedral High School, the current Indiana 5A champions, will be registering as a major midget team for the 2004-05 season in order to play Tier II in the USA Hockey National Championships.
