** NOTICE **

The application deadline is approaching! In order that your application be considered "on time", it MUST be postmarked no later than Saturday, September 3. That's just one week from tomorrow! For those of you that like to pay late fees we will continue to accept applications until the following Saturday, September 10. Please note that's an "in hand" deadline, not a postmark deadline, I must have them in my hands by that date.

As most of you know, I've been posting updates to our "Prospective Team List" on a daily basis. At this point there are a couple of divisions in jeopardy of not having enough teams. Specifically, the Midget16 "AA" and Midget18 "B" are both on the bubble at this point. If your team was intending to participate in one of these divisions you need to pay particular interest here. As of the Sep 10 deadline I will have all the applications in hand and if your division is still short of the required four (4) teams you will have until Tuesday, September 13 to choose one of three (3) options:

  1. A team can move DOWN a division IF (and only if) your team meets the requirements as defined by the Team Placement Chart. In other words, a Midget16 "AA" team could play in the Midget16 "A" division if it does not exceed the 2nd year player rule and is not a "1st picked team" from a "Large" association.
  2. A team can always move UP a division. In other words, a Midget16 "AA" team could play in any of the Midget18 divisions ("B", "A" or "AA") and a Midget18 "B" team could choose to play in the "A" division.
  3. Your final option is to withdraw your application and receive a full refund.
If your team falls into this category you will have until 7:00pm Tuesday to notify me of your intentions. It's your responsibility to contact me and if I don't hear from you we will default to option 3, your application will be withdrawn and a refund will be issued. In addition, we will hold a Board meeting that night (Tuesday the 13th) via conference call to make final decisions on any new members. Final brackets will be posted on the website immediately following the meeting.

One final request. Unfortunately, I will be unable to update the website from Thursday, September 1st until Friday of the following week, September 9. PLEASE send your applications in ASAP if at all possible. I know the timing is bad but there's nothing I can do about it. You can help by mailing your applications in THIS WEEKEND.
