BTHL Team Application for 2019-20 Season

The team application form for the 2019-20 season is available.

Team Applications

To complete the team application process, the coach, manager, or association rep must submit an online application for each team wishing to participate in the BTHL in 2019-20. Please fill out the form as completely and accurately as possible, including any comments to ensure that teams are properly matched at the seeding tournament. In addition, the contact information you submit will be loaded to the website for your organization and team to ensure proper communication is sent to the necessary people.

Once the form is completed, your registration confirmation will be emailed to you. An invoice for the team season fee and payment instructions will be sent separately.

Recreational Division

This year we are accepting applications for a Rec division. This new division would allow the house teams in your program to play in a recreational division, with a shorter season, low travel commitment, and a seeding tournament to help with parity of play for the season.

The Rec season would have a deferred start, with the seeding tournament on October 19, and regular games starting November 1.  The division will have geographical boundaries to limit the amount of travel for the players. The division End of Season tournament will be the weekend following the BTHL travel divisions. After all applications are received, we will follow up with interested teams with next steps.

Other Information and Deadlines

The application deadline for all divisions is August 3, 2019.

Teams may register and submit a payment of $250.00 for pre-season seeding games only, before committing to play in the league season. Teams electing this option must state this in the team application comments section.

All teams must provide a USA Hockey Approved roster at check-in for their first seeding game. You must have 10 skaters and a goalie to play in the seeding games. Any team that anticipates difficulty with this requirement must contact us in advance to discuss. Any player, coach, assistant, or manager not on the USA Hockey roster will not be permitted on the ice or bench.

Fees for the travel divisions will be the same as last season:

  • 10U and 12U teams: $1,190.
  • 14U teams: $1,250.

Fees for the Recreational division will be:

  • 10U and 12U teams: $750.
  • 14U teams: $800.
